Obituary of Georgeen Katz

Georgeen C. Katz, 78, of Mt. Pocono, died Friday, Dec. 17, 2010, at her home. Born in Eldredge, NJ, she was the daughter of the late George F. and Catherine (Thom) Katz-Barber. And the life partner of the late Kathryn Sosko. Georgeen was a graduate of Hamilton High School in NJ. Georgeen is survived by two nephews; Troy Hayes of Arvada, CO and Daniel Hayes of Cream Ridge, NJ, Step-son; Tom Sosko of The Villages, FL; four grand-nephews and eight grand-nieces. She was preceded in death by her sister; Dorothy M. Wood and step-daughter; Linda Miller. The family will receive friends at Bolock Funeral Home, Corner of Rts. 940 and 390 in Cresco, Pa from 7 to 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 23. Interment will be private.
