Obituary of Agnes Kahl

Agnes Mary Kahl, 82, of Long Pond, died Monday, August 2 at Mercy Hospital in Scranton. She was the wife of the late Kenneth W. Kahl. Born in New York, NY, she was the daughter of the late Hughe and Loretta (Ryan) Curry. She was of the catholic faith, enjoyed playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren. Agnes is survived by her two sons: Michael Celentano and his wife Catherine, and Kenneth Kahl; three daughters: Kelley Michiels and her husband Jason, Kathleen Ehrichs and Susan Slater; one sister: Vera Ambra; eleven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Thursday, August 5th from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a Blessing Service on Friday, August 6th at10:00 am at the funeral home. Private cremation will follow at the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
