Obituary of Mae Price

Mae Price, 65, of Paradise Valley, died unexpectedly on Thursday, September 23 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. She was the wife of Clyde "Buddy" W. Price to whom she was married for 45 years. Born in Long Pond, she was the daughter of Clarence and Bessie (Bellis) Kuhenbeaker and a life-long resident of Monroe County. Mae was a postal carrier for over 26 years in the Henryville area. She enjoyed gardening, ceramics, and loved animals, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Buddy, she is survived by a son, Brett Price and his wife, Susan of Henryville; a daughter, Sheila Clark and her husband, Roy of Cresco; a sister, Alverna Parker of Syndersville; two brothers, Clarence Kuhenbeaker of West Virginia and Floyd Kuhenbeaker of Sciota; five grandchildren, Brandi and Miranda Clark, Gracie Mae, Mikenna, and Cole Price; several nieces and nephews and her best friends Dale Mendez and Jenny Galunic, both of Canadensis. She was preceded in death by a brother, Norman Kuhenbeaker. There will be a visitation on Sunday, September 26 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Cresco. The Reverend David Crosby will conduct a funeral service on Monday, September 27 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pocono Community Church, Route 611 in Mt. Pocono.
