Obituary of Henry Glade

Henry Nicholas Glade, 80, of Scotrun, died Monday, August 16 at home. He was the husband of Margarete (Schneider) Glade, to whom he was married to for over 50 years. Born in New York, NY, he served as a decorated combat Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and then retired after 20 years of service. Mr. Glade then opened Achro Video, an electronic optic repair company located in Nyack, NY. He moved to the Poconos in the 1990's. In addition to his wife, Margarete, he is survived by a son: Nicholas Glade and his wife Cigdem of Rockland County, NY; a daughter: Christina Bauer and her husband John of Carmel, NY; a brother: Robert Glade; two sisters: Patricia Kjellberg and Irene Genero and three grandchildren: Matthew and Daniela Glade and Christopher John Bauer. Private Cremation was entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
