Obituary of Valerie Colón

Valerie Colon, 43, of Henryville, died unexpectedly on Thursday, April 8 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg, Pa. Born in New York, New York, she was the daughter of George Grafal of Tobyhanna and Loida Olivencia of Orlando, FL. Valerie was a Bus Driver of Bus #804 for the Pocono Mountain School District. In addition to her parents, she is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Colon of Henryville; a sister, Bonnie Colon of Allentown; four brothers, Jeremiah Grafal, Steven Colon, Eduardo Colon, and Tito Colon, all of Orlando, Florida. There will be a viewing on Monday, April 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Jim Shelton, Pastoral Care Director of Pocono Community Church will conduct a funeral service at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
