Obituary of Diana Sylvander

Diana M. Sylvander, 50, of York and formerly of Arrowhead Lake, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 7, 2010 at her home in York. Born in Flushing, New York, she was the daughter of the late Marvin B. Purser, Jr. and Barbara (Crowe) Purser. Diana was a graduate of St. Agnes High School in Flushing, New York. She was employed as a legal secretary. She is survived by three children, Daniel Harrington, Jr. of Maryland, John Sylvander, Jr. of Lindenhurst, NY, and Kristina Sylvander of Lindenhurst, NY; three brothers, Michael Purser and his wife Sandra of Bronx, NY, Kevin Purser of York, Joseph Purser and his wife Jasmin of Blakeslee; a sister, Eileen Davis and her husband Bill of Pocono Lake. The Reverend Father John Boyle will conduct a Blessing Service at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 12 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. There will be a viewing following the service until 4:00 p.m. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
