Obituary of Brian Knecht

Brian K. Knecht, 45, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 10, at home. Born in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of JoAnn (Parker) Knecht of Tobyhanna and the late Gerald S. Knecht, Sr. Brian was a graduate of Pocono Mountain High School. He was employed at Liz Claiborne Distribution Center in Mt. Pocono. In addition to his mother, JoAnn, he is survived by two brothers, Gerald S. Knecht, Jr. and Carol Weiss of Lake Wallenpaupack, Tim S. Knecht and his wife, Robyn of East Stroudsburg; nieces and nephews, Sunshine Matula and her husband Steve, of Cresco, Jeremy Knecht of Thornhurst, Starrlee Warner of Pocono Pines; and two great nieces, Nicolette Warner and Willow Matula. Friends and family may attend a graveside service held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 17 at the Hopedale Moravian Cemetery in Newfoundland. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
