Obituary of Thomas O' Keeffe

Thomas A. O'Keeffe, 63, of Albany, NY, formerly of Thornhurst, died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at the home of his sister, Anastasia Louis and brother-in-law, Richard Authur Louis, in Mountainhome. Born in New Ross, County Wexford, Ireland, he was the son of the late James Patrick and Bridget (Walsh) O'Keeffe. Thomas was employed as a residential electrician. An honored Navy veteran, beloved father, brother, and friend, he will be greatly missed. He is survived by a son, Thomas O'Keeffe, Jr.; two daughters, Jennifer O'Keeffe and Kathleen Faichney; six sisters, Katherine Watkins of Perth, Australia, Anastasia Louis of Mountainhome, Bridget O'Keeffe-Chan of Sydney, Australia, Mary Hampshire of Windsor, Australia, Patricia O'Keeffe of Adelaide, Australia, and Frances O'Keeffe of Perth, Australia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Geraldine O'Keeffe, and two brothers, Seamus and John O'Keeffe. The Reverend Father David Cramer will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 15 at St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church in Canadensis. Cremation service was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory, corners of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley
