Obituary of George Slater

George E. Slater, Jr., 56, died Tuesday, May 25 at Lehigh Valley Cedar Crest Hospital. He was the husband of Lauren (Kowalski) Slater. Born in Bayshore, New York, he was the son of George E. and Delores (Rampino) Slater. He was of the Christian faith. George was a steamfitter for Local #638 in New York. In addition to his wife, Lauren, he is survived by three sons, George Slater of Bayshore, NY, Jason George Slater of Coram, NY, Joshua George Slater of Cresco; two daughters, Jacqueline and Jessica Slater, both of Stamford, NY; two granddaughters, Jisela Quintanilla and Madison Slater; four brothers, and six sisters. The Reverend George Alt will conduct a funeral service at 8:30 p.m. on Friday, May 28 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 30 in Paradise Valley. There will be a viewing from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Private cremation will follow at the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
