Obituary of David Taylor

David H. Taylor, 76, of Mountainhome, died Friday morning, March 19 at home. He was the husband of Marie (Peet) Taylor, to whom he was married for 16 years. They would have celebrated their wedding anniversary on Sunday, March 21. Born in Mifflintown, he was the son of the late David H. and Grace (Walters) Taylor. After his retirement as an Ocean City, Maryland Policeman, David worked as a security guard at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Buck Hill Falls, and Skytop Lodge. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Stroudsburg and the American Legion Post #902 in Cresco. In addition to his wife, Marie, he is survived by a son, David H. Taylor, Jr. of Honey Grove, PA; a daughter, Lana Kay Taylor of Solomons, MD; two grandchildren, Robert W. and Alicia K. Schultz and great grandchild, Islyn Grace Schultz, all of Austin, TX. He was preceded in death by a sister, Norma Williams. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home in Paradise Valley.
