Obituary of Enrique Hernandez

Enrique Hernandez, 67, of Tobyhanna, died Saturday, December 19 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Felicia Hernandez. Born in Cuba, he was the son of the late Enrique and Consuelo Francia Contrera Hernandez. Enrique worked as a corrections officer. He was a member of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club and of St. Ann's Church in Tobyhanna. In addition to his wife, Felicia, he is survived by two sons: Enrique Hernandez III of Tobyhanna and Eloy Hernandez of Atlanta, Ga; one daughter: Elaine Hernandez of Tobyhanna; one brother: Enrique Hernandez IV of North Carolina; two sisters: Estela Contero of Georgia and Sonia Hernandez of North Carolina; Seven Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, December 22 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Route 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 23 at 10:00 am at St. Mary of the Mount, 27 Fairview Ave. Mt. Pocono. Interment will follow at St. Raymond's Cemetery, Bronx, N.Y.
