Obituary of Francis Macy

Francis J. Macy, 87, of Mountainhome, died Friday, February 3, 2006 at home. He was the husband of Jane (Daley) Macy, to whom he was married for 65 years. Born in Nazareth, he was the son of the late John and Hazel (Welty) Macy. Before his retirement, Francis was employed as chief clerk for the Penn Dixie Cement Company. In addition to his wife, Jane, he is survived by a daughter in law, Monica Macy of Cresco, and a granddaughter, Athena Macy-Meier of Split Rock. He was preceded in death by a son, Francis J. Macy, Jr. A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 12 at the Bolock Funeral Home, routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. There will be a visitation from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
