Obituary of Rose Pepia

Rose M. Pepia, 74, of Mt. Pocono, died Sunday morning, April 18 at home. She was the wife of John A. Pepia, who died in 1999. Born in Mt. Pocono, Rose was the daughter of the late Mahlon and Katherine (Tigue) Flowers. She graduated from Barrett High School and worked at the A & P Supermarket in Mt. Pocono, Mt. Airy Lodge and in the cafeteria at Pocono Mountain School. Rose is survived by two daughters: Kathryn Pepia Nordbo and her husband John of Brooklyn, NY and Linda Knecht of Mt. Pocono; her son: John Pepia and his wife Jill of Boca Raton, Fl; her brother: James Flowers of Paradise Valley; her sister: Ann Hamblin of Rome, NY; ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, John, Rose was preceded in death by her sister: Mary Flowers. There will be a viewing on Wednesday, April 21 from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390, Paradise Valley. A Blessing Service will be conducted on Thursday, April 22 at 10:00 am at the Bolock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Laurelwood Cemetery in Stroudsburg.
