Obituary of Daryl Feller

Daryl L. Feller, 53, of Long Pond, died Friday evening April 16 at his home. He was the husband of Carol (Theodore) Feller. Born in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of Kermit and Betty (Flick) Feller of Sciota. A graduate of Stroudsburg High School and York College, Daryl was a lifelong resident of Monroe County. He worked as a dispatcher for the Monroe County Control Center. Prior to dispatching, Daryl was a Police Officer for the Coolbaugh Twp. Police Department and later retired from the Pocono Mountain Regional Police. He was the current President of the Pocono Summit Volunteer Fire Co. and volunteered for the Central Pocono Ambulance Association in Tannersville and the Coolbaugh Twp. Ambulance, which is now the Pocono Mountain Regional EMS. Daryl also drove a school bus for the Pocono Mountain School District. In addition to his wife and parents, Daryl is survived by one son: Michael Durso, Jr. and two daughters: Cara and Grace Durso; one brother: Brian Feller and his sister-in-law: Cathy Feller. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, April 20 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm 8:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. Reverend E. Ann Melot will conduct a Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 21 at 10:00 am at the Bolock Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
