Obituary of Richard Flinch

Richard W. Flinch, 62, of Blakeslee, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, September 29, at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Eileen R. Flinch. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Walter and Thelma P. (Potts) Flinch. He moved to the Poconos four years ago was employed at the Mt. Pocono Walmart as an assembler. Prior to that, he was a window glazier in the home repair industry. In addition to his wife, Eileen, he is survived by two sons, Erik and Ryan; two daughters, Chrissy and Kerri; six step-children, Lisa, Edward, Gary, Paula, Michelle, and Karen; a sister, Joan; mother-in-law, Harriet Flynn; brother-in-law, Jimmy; 11 grandchildren; and a nephew, Terry. He was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Jane. There will be a viewing on Monday, October 4, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Cresco. A Blessing Service will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
