Obituary of Irene Garnier

Irene Garnier, 83, formerly of Pocono Summit, died Monday, September 26 at Hazleton General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Daniel Garnier. Born in Brooklyn, New York, she was the daughter of the late George and Lula Blume. Until her retirement, she was employed as a dental hygienist. She is survived by a son, George Garnier and his wife, Jolette of Tobyhanna; a daughter, Linda DeJesus of West Chester; five grandchildren, George Garnier, Jr., Janet Lear, John Garnier, Kristan Keller, and RJ Showers; and seven great grandchildren. There will be a viewing on Thursday, September 29 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road in Cresco followed by a service at 8:00 p.m. Burial will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 3 at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
