Obituary of Jeanne Ranze

Jeanne M. Ranze, 79, of Cresco, died Saturday, May 29 at Pleasant Valley Manor in Hamilton Township. She was the wife of John Ranze. Born in Schenectady, New York, she was the daughter of the late John and Irene (Salsville) Morrow. Before her retirement, Jeanne worked at the former Mt. Airy Lodge and Weiler Brush. She was a member of the American Legion Post #922 Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by three sons, Mark Ranze of Silver Spring, MD, John Ranze of Mountainhome, Michael Ranze of Milanville, PA; a brother, James; two sisters, Irene and Susanne, five grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. A private burial will take place at Laurelwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of NEPA, 71 Franklin Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pa. 18701
