Obituary of Ann Jordan

Ann E. (Bleauskas) Jordan, 90, of Mt. Pocono died Sunday, April 9 at St. Mary's Villa in Moscow. She was the widow of Merle "Jerry" Jordan, who died in 1971. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Anna (Bagdonas) Bleauskas. Before her retirement in 1981, Ann worked at the Tobyhanna Army Depot, where she was the first female supervisor at the Commissary. She then volunteered her time at the Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg for many years. Ann was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono, where she served as a Eucharist Minister. Ann was preceded in death by two brothers: Stanley Bleauskas in 1962 and Thomas Bleauskas in 1969. Monsignor Arthur J. Kaschenbach will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am on Wednesday April 12th at St. Mary of the Mount Church, Fairview Ave. Mt. Pocono. Interment will follow in St. Catherine's Cemetery, Moscow. There will be a viewing on Tuesday, April 11th from 2 to 4 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390, Paradise Valley.
