Obituary of Elizabeth Grady

Elizabeth A. Grady, 78, of Pocono Summit, died unexpectedly on Friday, May 5 at home. She was the widow of Joseph Grady. Born in West Pittston, she was the daughter of the late James and Rebecca (Brennan) Murray. She was employed as a waitress at Johnnie's Restaurant in Pocono Summit, and many of the Pocono Resorts for over 35 years. She was a member of St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono, where she was formerly active in the Alter and Rosary Society. She is survived by a daughter, Deborah Koprowski, and her husband Chet, of Tobyhanna; three sons, William Grady and his wife Jackie, of South Fork; Paul Grady and his wife Nancy of Blandon; Joseph Grady of Stroudburg; a sister, Eleanor Cavalari of West Pittston; six grandchildren, Julie, Dorothy, and Billy Grady of South Fork, Jan Gary of Scranton, Adam Grady of Susquehanna, Aidan Koprowski of Tobyhanna; six great- grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. The Reverend Monsignor Arthur Kaschenbach will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 9 at St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono. Interment will follow at St Catherine's Cemetery in Moscow. There will be a viewing on Monday, May 8 from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
