Obituary of Hilde Kline

Hilde (Hilch) F. Kline, passed away peacefully on June 20, 2006 surrounded by her loved ones, at her grandson, Steven Yant and his wife, Lori's home in Lexington, SC. She was the beloved wife of the late William L. Kline, Jr. for 50 years. Hilde formerly lived in Philadelphia, Glenside, Abington, and Pocono Lake, Pa. She was an employee of the Abington Township School System's Cafeteria Department for Rydal School in Pa and for many Pocono Gift Shops. She was a charter member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Blakeslee, Pa. She is survived by two daughters, Carol Anne Kline of Abington, Pa, Nancy Jones of Lexington, SC; a sister, Lillian Smith of Jenkintown, Pa; two grandsons, Steven Yant and his wife Lori, Michael Yant and his wife Arlyn, all of Lexington, SC; two great-grandchildren, Rachel Laren and Nicholas Joseph Yant; several nieces and nephews, and a sister-in-law, Helen Howland of Philadelphia, Pa. She was preceded in death by a sister Margarete Walton. The Reverend Wayne Kaufman will conduct a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 28 at the Faith Lutheran Church in Blakeslee, Pa. Interment will follow at the Pocono Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Hilde's name to the Faith Lutheran Church, PO Box 208, Blakeslee, Pa. 18610
