Obituary of Roxanna Ryan

Roxanna M. Ryan, 60, of Pocono Summit, died July 20 at home. Born in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of Ruby (Burns) Perrault. Roxanna was employed at the Tobyhanna Army Depot. She was a United States Navy veteran. A devout Catholic, she was known as the "prayer warrior" who always prayed for people in need. Roxanna volunteered at St. Francis Soup Kitchen in Scranton and also the local food pantries. She is survived by a son, Wheatley Ryan of Woodland, CA; and a daughter Kim Peters of Rancho Cordoba, CA. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will celebrate a Memorial Mass at 7:00 p.m. Thursday evening, July 27 at St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono. Cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley.
