Obituary of Joseph Leonti

Joseph J. Leonti, 68, of Cresco, died Wednesday, September 28 at home. He was the husband of Dorothy (Sheredos) Leonti. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he was the son of John Joseph and Lucy (Gangi) Leonti. Before his retirement, Joseph was employed as an electrician for IBEW Local #3. In addition to his wife, Dorothy, he is survived by a son, John Leonti and his wife, Jennifer of California; two daughter, Jacqueline Detrick and her husband, Michael of Wynnewood; Jill Gallego and her husband, Juan of Florida; a sister, Lorraine Leardon and her husband, John of Buffalo, NY; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a visitation on Saturday, October 1 from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road in Cresco. The Reverend Father Greg Loughney will conduct a Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 pm at St. Mary of the Mount Church, Fairview Avenue in Mt. Pocono. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
