Obituary of Arlene Levy

Arlene H. Levy, 76, of Blakeslee, died Monday, June 14 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Plains. She was the wife of Dick Levy to whom she was married for 59 years. Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Kate Schwartz. Arlene was a Phlebotomist at John F. Kennedy Hospital in Philadelphia for 18 years. She had been a resident of Greenwood Acres in Blakeslee for 24 years. In addition to her husband, Dick, she is survived by a daughter, Joan Ferreira and her husband Frank of Moravia, New York; and one grandson, Jonathan Place of Albany, New York. There will be a visitation on Friday, June 18 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
