Obituary of Harry Frey

Harry Frey, 74, of Arrowhead Lakes died Monday night, July 31 at home. He was the husband of Kathleen O'Brien. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Harry S. and Madeline (Nutter) Frey. He graduated from Rockledge High School, where he served as senior class treasurer. Harry then joined the U.S. Marines and later the U.S. Marine Reserves. He worked for the community of Arrowhead Lakes before retiring from the Arrowhead Sewer Company. Harry was a member of the Thornhurst Fire Police and the Royal Order of the Moose in Bucks County. He was also active in several other charitable organizations. He was a member of Christ the King Church in Blakeslee where he served as a Eucharistic Minister. In addition to his wife, Harry is survived by a son: David A. and his wife Cathy of Slatington and his two daughters: Dawn Frey Duet and his son-in law Rod of Hiram, Ga; Deborah Madeline Frey Johnson and his son-in-law Bill with whom he resided; 12 Grand-Children, 13 Great-Grand-Children and his best friend, his dog Candy and his Grand-Puppy Scooter. He was preceded in death by his first wife Nancy (Cook) Frey McDermott and his sister Madeline Frey Kawell. Services will be private.
