Obituary of Harriet Donohue

Harriet A. Donohue, 84, of Tobyhanna, died July 7, 2010 at Mountain City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hazleton. She was the wife of the late John W. Donohue, who passed away three days ago, on July 4, 2010. They were married for 62 years. Born in Amityville, New York, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Augusta (Schultz) Walker. Most of Harriet's career was in retail sales. She worked for many years at Sears, JC Penney, and retired from Macy's. She is survived by a son, John R. Donohue of Tobyhanna; a daughter, Sharon M. Bucalo of Moosic; a sister, June League of Wales, Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews. There will be a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. today, Thursday, July 8 for Harriet and her husband, John at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. Visitation for family and friends will take place from 12:30 until the time of service. Burials will take place at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg.
