Obituary of Edward Bobby

Edward Joseph Bobby, 88, of Pocono Summit, died Friday, December 25 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the husband of Mary (Rusnock) Bobby. Born in Lattimer, he was the son of the late Peter and Mary (Cotsack) Bobby. Prior to retiring, Edward worked for Sanofi Pasteur in the lab for 9 years and also at Cramers Home Building Centers as a lumberyard manager. He served in the U.S. Navy. Edward was a life member of the Pocono Summit Volunteer Fire Co. and was a member of many rodeo and cowboy associations including the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association. He was also a member of the American Legion Wilson-Fischer Post 413 in Pocono Pines and Pocono Lions Club. He was a past member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Pocono Summit and a current member of St. Mary of the Mount Church in Mt. Pocono. He enjoyed roping calves and being with his horses. In addition to his wife, Mary, Edward is survived by three daughters: Gloria Wagner and her husband James of Henryville, Patricia Stout of Bangor and Ann Marie Kinsley and her husband Donald of Pocono Summit; 14 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son: John Fedin, and six brothers and three sisters. The Reverend Father Joseph Kopacz will conduct a Blessing Service at 8:30 pm on Wednesday, December 30 at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of Routes 940 and 390, Paradise Valley. There will be a visitation from 7:00 pm until the time of the service at the funeral home. Private cremation was entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
