Obituary of Ruth Diernbach

Ruth G. Diernbach, 85, of Tobyhanna, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, August 10 at Hazelton General Hospital. She was the wife of the late David H. Diernbach. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of the late William J. and Mary F. (Adams) Gray. Before her retirement, Ruth was employed for over 30 years in electronics repair at Tobyhanna Army Depot. She is survived by a son, Calvin Lane and his wife Brigitte, of Tobyhanna; a brother, Gordon L. Gray of Baltimore, MD; two grandchildren, Erik and his wife Jennifer of Street, MD and Travis Lane of Sunnyvale, CA; and two great-grandchildren, Vanessa and Daniel Lane of Street, MD. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Calvin Lane Sr. There will be a viewing on Thursday, August 12 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, corner of routes 940 & 390 in Paradise Valley. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, August 13 at 1:00 p.m. at Bel Air Memorial Gardens, 809 Rock Spring Road, Bel Air, MD.
