Obituary of Mary Ann Sciolaro

Mary Ann Sciolaro, 77, of Canadensis, died on Wednesday, September 17, 2014 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of the late Frederick Sciolaro, Sr. Born in Jersey City, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Marie (Capone) Salomone. Mary Ann worked for the National Community Bank in Lodi, N.J. She resided in the Poconos for over 20 years. Mary Ann was of the Catholic faith and a member of St. Bernadette in Canadensis. She is survived by two sons, Mark Sciolaro of Saddle Brook, N.J., Michael Sciolaro of Canadensis; daughters: Deanna Sciolaro of Carlstadt, N.J., Barbara Sciolaro of Saddle Brook, N.J.; brother: Nicholas Salomone of Hasbrouck Heights, N.J.; three grandchildren: Stefanie and Connor Sciolaro and Jack Wilczynski; dear friend: Nina LaQuino of Canadensis. In addition to her husband, Frederick, she was preceded in death by her son, Frederick Sciolaro, Jr. Services will be held at a later date. A private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
