Dear Nancy, Karen & Michael,
I am a 2nd cousin to Steve-from Polk County, FL.
Another sweet cousin learned of Steve's untimely death
while doing some Brown family research. Wish we had
found him & you all before his death. I know Steve was a
wonderful man because he comes from a long line of good
stock & God fearing/salt of the earth folks.
Hope one of you will email me or text me @ 863 206 5303
when time allows. I have a Brown family photo dated approx.
1895. It shows Steve's grandfather, Lemuel Jerry Brown, as
a young boy, with his parents & 5 siblings. I would love to
share a copy with you all to pass down to your children and
grand-children. Sincerely, MJ/Margaret

I'm sorry to hear of Mr. Brown's passing, I was one of his students back in 1974. I remember him as, yes, cool and quick witted. He knew how to challenge his students to produce quality work.

The greatest drama teacher/friend any of us could have wished for. With tear-filled eyes, I sing "Thanks for the Memories". You will always have a special piece of our hearts, Brownie. Playing "Kim" in Bye Bye Birdie was one of the highlights of high school for me. Thank you for that. Great teachers are the ones that become your friends, as well.
Forever. Methacton Class of 1980.

I have just heard about the passing of our dear "Mr. Brown", and had to stop to write to you. Although it was many years ago that I knew him, I have always been grateful for the dedicated service that he gave to the drama program. I attended Methacton High School, so many years ago in the class of 1978, and I had the privilege of being cast in many of the musicals that Steve directed from Junior High until graduation. He was passionate and dedicated, and set a high standard of work that inspired us all. Based on my experience working with him, I pursued a life in the performing arts and continue to work as an actor, director, writer, singer, producer and teacher. He had an impact on so many lives and he will be deeply missed. My deepest condolences to his family.
