Obituary of Joseph P. Cosentino

Joseph P. Cosentino, 74, of Pocono Pines, died on Tuesday, October 28th, 2014 at his home. He was the loving husband of Anna (Cecci) Cosentino to whom he was married for 51 years. Born in Newark, NJ he was the son of the late Louis and Philomena (Restaino) Cosentino. Raised in Nutley, NJ he attended Washington School and later went on to graduate from Nutley High School. While at Nutley High he was a varsity football and baseball player, president of the student council, member of the national honor society and a member of the New Jersey Boy’s State Foundation. He continued his education at Clarkson College of Technology, where he received a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemistry and was a member of the Delta Upsilon Fraternity. Throughout his adult years, Joseph had a rewarding career as an executive with Drew Chemical in Boonton, NJ. Joseph’s family and friends gave his life meaning and he will be deeply missed. In addition to his wife, Anna, he leaves behind Randy Underwood and his wife Tracy; his daughter: Amy Tillotson and her husband Tom; four grandchildren: Brooke Underwood, Cameron Underwood, Maxine Tillotson, Beatrice Tillotson and a large extended family and close friends. Services are private. Cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
