Obituary of Paul Sanner

Paul Sanner, 51 of Tobyhanna, died Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Judith (Gaffney) Sanner. Born in Que Gardens, Queens, he was the son of the late Patricia and Felix Sanner. Paul moved to the Poconos in 1990 with his wife, Judy to raise his family. He was an avid photographer and will be remembered for always having a camera in his hand and for his cunning sense of humor. Life was never serious for Paul and this was what he drew from to carry him through his seven year struggle with Cancer. Paul was honored to be accepted into the lives of the New York City Firefighters especially the members of E255 L157 as photographer. He had several photos published in WNYF. Paul was recently awarded Honorary Battalion Chief by the Fire Department of the City of New York. He was a member of Most Holy Trinity Parish, and attended the Church of St. Ann in Tobyhanna. His greatest love was his three children, Meghan, Sean, and Maura. He is survived by his wife, Judy his three children, his mother, Angela; two brothers Michael, Peter, two sisters, Carolyn and her husband, Kevin; Donna and her husband, Jerry. There will be a viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 5 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Gregory Loughney will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 6 at the Church of St. Ann in Tobyhanna.
