Obituary of Carol M. Snell

Carol M. Snell, 67, of Tobyhanna, died on Saturday, November 8th, 2014 at Celtic Hospice in Wilkes-Barre. Born in Kearny, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Margaret (Gaff) Marx. Carol lived in Wayne, NJ for over 40 years before moving to Tobyhanna. She was a member of the Mount Pocono United Methodist Church, Mt. View Chapter 205 and Order of the Eastern Star in NJ. During her working years, she did retail to secretarial tasks and everything in between. After retirement, she enjoyed spending more time with her family and was always an avid crocheter. She is survived by her daughter, Margaret Williams and her husband Charles of Tobyhanna and grandsons: John Williams, currently serving in Ft. Stewart, of Tobyhanna, Scott Williams and Mark Williams both of Tobyhanna. There will be a visitation from 11 to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 27 at the Mount Pocono United Methodist Church, 12 Church Ave. An Eastern Star Service will begin at 12:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service also at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Carol may be made to the Mount Pocono United Methodist Church.
