Obituary of Patricia A. Martin

Patricia A. Martin, 63, of Swiftwater, died on Thursday, December 4, 2014 at her home. She was the wife of John Martin. Born in Scranton, she was the daughter of Joseph and Terri (Helcoskwi) Wahl. Patricia worked as a Nanny for many years and loved spending time with and caring for her children, who were her world, and many others. She enjoyed the time she had with her closest friends at the shore, laying in the sun, playing cards and traveling. She was known for her fashionista style, her cooking and her baking. She was loved by many and will be missed by all. In addition to her husband and parents, she is also survived by two sons, Ryan Martin of Danielsville, Ross Martin and his wife, Jessica of Easton; a brother, Joseph Wahl, II and his wife, Lisa of Scott Twp., PA; two nephews, Joseph Wahl, III and Jordan Wahl both of Scott Twp., PA; grandson, Callan and grand puppy, Viggo. She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Gabriel. There will be a visitation from 2 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, December 7 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Patricia’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 163549 Columbus, OH 43216-3549. Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
