Obituary of Paul Morin
Paul Morin, 70, of Pocono Lake, passed away on Tuesday, October 11 at home. He was the husband of Bernadette L. (Thorne) Morin.
Born in the City of Fall River, MA, he was the son of the late Emile J. and Edna V. (Auger) Morin.
Paul loved his job as a real estate agent for Century 21. He was a member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Church in Pocono Lake. Paul was a United States Army veteran, who served in four conflicts during the Vietnam War. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #413 in Pocono Lake.
In his leisure time, he loved to eat, cook, and go fishing and clamming. A funny and affectionate man, he always did things to the fullest. But most of all, he loved his New England Patriots.
In addition to his wife, Bernadette, he is survived by a son Marcus Morin and his wife, Samantha of Albrightsville; two daughters, Laura Morin and Terry Young of Pocono Lake; Paula Koerwitz and her husband Tom of Las Vegas; two brothers, Charles Morin and his wife Sharon of Portsmouth, RI, Emile Morin and his wife Anne of Lake Havasue, AZ; a sister, Lucille Silva and her husband, George of Middletown, RI; seven grandchildren, Katherine 20, Robert 19, Cassandra 19, Amanda 16, Dominick 12, Zachary 10, Kyleigh 3; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a viewing on Sunday, October 16 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road in Cresco. The Reverend Father John Boyle will conduct a Blessing Service at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
