Obituary of Susan M. Reilly

Susan M. Reilly, 74, of Bartonsville, died Sunday, Dec. 14, 2014, at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County in East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of Charles A. Reilly, to whom she shared 57 years of marriage. Born in Brooklyn, New York on June 17, 1940, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gladys (Golden) Belford. Susan was a secretary for the Pocono Mountain School District for 30 years and retired in 2012. She loved the beach, her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Charles; she is survived by her daughters, Susan Whitewood of Stroudsburg and Linda Dross of Cresco; son-in-law, Chuck Dross; brothers, Joseph Belford and his wife, Beverly, of East Moriches, New York and Jerry Belford and his wife, Alicia, of Jackson, New Jersey; twin sister, Julienne Sacco of Port Richie, Florida; grandchildren, Connor and Colin Dross and Amanda and Nicholas Whitewood; and many nieces and nephews. Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Belford. There will be a viewing from 3 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec.17, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Richard Czachor will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec.18 at Our Lady of Victory Church, 327 Cherry Lane Road, Tannersville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice House, 502 VNA Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
