Jason Matthew Murray, 26, of Mount Pocono, left to be with his lord and savior on Dec. 22, 2014. Jason was born in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving son of Eugene (Geno) Murray Jr. and Robin (Kays) Murray of Mount Pocono. In addition to his parents, Jason is survived by his sisters, Meghan Lynn Murray and Samantha Jean Murray of Mount Pocono; his maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Richard Serfass of Bath; his paternal grandmother, Roseann V. Bacchetti Murray of Towson, Md.; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Eugene L. Murray Sr. and Robert Kays. Jason attended Monsignor McHugh School and, later, both Bishop O'Hara High School in Dunmore and Pocono Mountain East in Swiftwater. Jason loved working alongside his parents running their family businesses, and he took great pride in their accomplishments. In addition to working alongside the family, Jason recently established his own roll-off service. It was a great success and something that he took extreme pride in. He was a hardworking, loving and determined young man. Jason grew up four-wheeling, dirt biking, snowboarding, skateboarding and boating, and he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. Jason was loved by everyone who knew him and will be missed by everyone.
