Obituary of Doreen A. Entenmann

Doreen Anne Entenmann, 75, of Blakeslee, died Saturday, January 10, 2015 at her home. She was the loving wife of John "Jack" Entenmann. Born in New York, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Nugent) McCormack. Doreen was a sociable and caring person who kept a clean and welcoming home. She found joy in hosting family and friends and will be remembered for her excellent cooking skills. In addition to her husband, Jack, she is survived by her son, Scott Svoboda; sister, Mary Jane Billings; nephews, Christopher Matkovich and John Wylie; grandchildren, Evan Entenmann and Kristi Yarnell and stepson, Steven Entenmann and his wife Gloria. Doreen was preceded in death by her daughter, Kim Wilson; brothers, Joseph and John McCormack and stepson, Larry Entenmann. There will be a viewing from 2 to 4 p.m. Wednesday, January 14 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco and from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 15 at St. Peter the Fisherman Church, 2111 Lake Dr, Lake Harmony. Monsignor Chizmar will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 am at the church. Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
