Obituary of Janie K. Glinane

Janie K. Glinane, 61, of Pocono Lake, died February 8, 2015 at Regional Hospital in Scranton. She was the loving wife of Stephen G. Glinane. Born in Paterson, N.J., she was the daughter of the late John and Marge (Barone) Ferrazzano. Janie worked for Ray Price Motors in Stroudsburg as a title clerk for over 20 years. She was an active member of St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish in Pocono Pines, where she was a member of the Women's Cornerstone Retreat Program, Liturgy Committee, Confirmation Team and other ministries. Janie also was involved in the Arrowhead Lake Community, serving on Bingo, Recreation and the Election Committee. In addition to her husband, Steve, she is survived by her mother-in-law, Gloria Glinane of Jamesburg, N.J.; brother, Liam Glinane of West Milford, N.J.; sister, Donna Constantino and her husband, Chuck of AZ; and many nieces and nephews. Janie was preceded in death by her brother, John Ferrazzano. There will be a viewing from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, February 13 and from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, February 14 at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, 5112 Pocono Crest Road, Pocono Pines. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, at the church. Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, February 17, at St. Catherine's Cemetery in Moscow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, or the Women's Cornerstone Retreat Program c/o St. Maximilian, P.O. Box O (the letter O) Pocono Pines, PA 18350.
