Obituary of Angelo Sergi

Angelo Sergi, 62 of Tobyhanna, Pa, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of Donna Sergi. They had celebrated 36 years of marriage. He was born October 28, 1952 in Brooklyn, NY. He was the son of the late Anthony and Dorothy Sergi and a resident of Monroe County since 1989. He is survived by his daughter Christina Tanner of East Stroudsburg, PA, and Amy Craig of Summit Hill, PA, sons Michael Sergi and Angelo Sergi of Las Vegas, NV. He was a loving brother to Florence Sterrett and Mary Ann Miller of Long Pond, PA, Dorothy Benak of Tobyhanna, PA, Linda Boster of Staten Island, NY, Dr. Donna Sergi of Brooklyn, NY, and Annette Glogower of West Palm Beach, FL. He was the loving grandfather of Nicholas Sergi and Bryan Sergi of Tobyhanna, PA, Elizabeth Tanner, Johnathan Tanner and Trinity Tanner of East Stroudsburg, Matthew Craig, Daniel Craig and Robert Nathan Craig of Summit Hill, Joseph Sergi and Ryan Sergi of Las Vegas, NV. He is preceded in death by his daughter Theresa Sergi of Tobyhanna, PA, brother Anthony Sergi of Newfoundland, PA, parents Anthony Sergi and Dorothy Sergi of Tobyhanna, PA, nephew Michael Sergi of Tobyhanna, PA. There will be a visitation from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Friday, February 27, at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Sean Carpenter will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial at 4 p.m. at St. Maximilian Kolbe Parish, Pocono Pines. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
