I always enjoyed seeing Mr. O'Neill at the GBO golf outings. He had such wonderful stories and loved to laugh. Mr. O'Neill was an old fashioned gentleman who enjoyed having fun and appreciated the important things in life. My sincere condolences to Kevin and the entire O'Neill family.

Dear Bernice and Family:
My deepest sympathy to you and your family. You have lost a truly caring husband and father. I will always remember him with great fondness for his visits with my Dad during the final days of his illness. I know he will be greeted in heaven with many smiling faces.

Dear Bernice and Family:
I will be forever grateful to you and Bernie for the kindness you extended to me when my parents died.
Bernie was not only a wonderful man, but a good and gentle man with a great sense of humor. And he was a friend. I will miss him and I share in your grief at the loss of such a great father and husband.
God speed, Bernie. I know you are trading war stories with my Dad, as you did when you sat with him during his last days when I had to take my Mom to medical appointments. And I know you are having a laugh about the ham dinner you delivered to my home after my Mom passed away. Heaven will be happier for you, while we, here on earth, will miss that great Irish smile and sense of humor.

I was so sorry to hear about your Dad and loving husband. I have many fond memories of being at the O'Neill house and having such a great time with the whole family; we shared many laughs together. I remember how your Dad always called me "twinkle toes" and enjoyed my Charo impersonation! I am thinking of all of you and send my love.

To Bernice, my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family. May God bless you and keep you safe and know your friends will miss Bernie very much.

Dearest Bernice and family,
Our hearts are so saddened to learn of Bernie's passing. To both of us and so many from St. Bernadette's who truly loved Bernie and his inimitable Irish smile, we can only take solace in knowing that heavenly harps greeted him with "When Irish Eyes Are Smiling".
We are truly sorry that we are away from home right now and will not be able to personally pay our respects, but please know we are with you in heart and spirit, as we will be throughout this weekend, and attending Mass here in Florida on Monday for our dear friend. Your Brother Knight and his Lady are so blessed to have had you cross our paths during this earthly life. Rest in peace, dear friend.

My heart is aching. I will miss my dear friend Bernie more than I can say. He has been a joyful friend and dear to many hearts from St. Bernadette' s parish. He played golf with my late husband and I knew who it was that put golf balls near the headstone when he visited Joe. His many many friends will mourn him and miss his lively Irish wit and smiling presence among us, but the Lord will enjoy his company in heaven now.
