Obituary of Adrian Josie

Adrian Egwin Josie, 61, of Long Pond, died on Friday, October 14, 2011 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of Eugenia (Small) Josie. Born in St. Lucia, he was the son of the late Josephat and Rachael Josie. In addition to his wife Eugenia, he is also survived by two sons: Nigel Louis and his wife Luisa of NY; Tremaine Josie of PA; two daughters: Nadia Josie-Delerme and her husband Stevenson of NY, Zahra Josie of PA; two brothers; Peter Josie and Sullivan Josie; three sisters: Sereta JnPierre, Agnes Josie, Christella Josie, four grandchildren; Ocean Warring, Stevenson Delerme, Brandon Delerme, Dylan Delerme; In-laws; Helen and Peter Leandre, Shirley, Andy, Debrah, Nelbert, Ferah and several nieces in nephews. There will be a viewing on Monday, October 24 from 9-11 a.m at the Seventh Adventist Church, West Main Street in Stroudsburg with a service following at 11a.m at the church. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery, 501 Prospect Street in East Stroudsburg. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the College Fund for Adrian's Children at 77 Glade Drive, Long Pond, PA 18334.
