Obituary of Stephen Dewitsky, Jr.

Stephen Dewitsky Jr., 70, of Pocono Pines, died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at his home. Born in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of Pauline (Keiper) Dewitsky the late Stephen Dewitsky, Sr. A proud veteran, Stephen served four years with the United States Coast Guard. He was a volunteer fire fighter for the Tobyhanna Twp. Fire Department in Pocono Pines and was a member of the American Legion Post 413 in Pocono Lake. In his spare time he enjoyed being out on his boat. In addition to his mother Pauline, he is survived by his brothers: Mark Dewitsky of Pocono Lake, John Dewitsky and his wife, Patti of Mount Bethel; cousin, Hazel Altemose of Long Pond; nephews: Stephen Dewitsky, III of Encinitas, Ca, Mark Dewitsky of Windsor, SC and his large extended family. There will be no services at this time. Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
