Obituary of Marion Wood

Marion Wood, 76, of Canadensis, died Thursday, April 2, 2015 at her home. Born in Jamaica, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Edward and Albina (Ochal) Wood. In addition to her best friend, Steven Prince who was a loyal and dedicated caregiver, she is survived by a daughter, Dawn Tropeano of N.Y.; son, Joseph Siegel of Fla.; brother, Edward Wood of Tobyhanna; three grandsons Joseph Siegel, Scott and James Tropeano and two granddaughters who were her loyal caregivers, Jessica Siegel and Nicole Tropeano. There will be a visitation from 11 to 1 p.m. Monday, April 6 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Gregory Loughney will conduct a memorial service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery in East Stroudsburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Marion may be made to the Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, 3962 S. Delaware Street, Englewood, CO 80110. Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
