Obituary of Judith Mae Cullen

Judith Mae Cullen, 73, of Canadensis, died Wednesday, April 22, 2015 at Pocono Medical Center in East Stroudsburg. She was the loving wife of T. Vance Cullen. Born in East Stroudsburg, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Mary (Hess) Ott. Judith took on the greatest role of her life when she became a wife and mother. She cherished her grandchildren and took pride in caring for her whole family. She will be remembered for her keen sense of humor, friendship and her kindness to all who knew her. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, Scott Pettinato and his wife, Lori of Bangor; daughters: Wendy Gesell of East Stroudsburg, Gina Miller and her husband, Dayton of Wooddale, Kerry Smith and her husband, Jeremy of Broomall; sisters: Dolores Smith and her husband, Duane of Cheraw, S.C., Virginia Matlock and her husband, Robert of Wind Gap; sisters-in-law, Carolyn Cullen of Stroudsburg, Lili Mortimer and her husband Tom of Nazareth and seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Judith was preceded in death by her brothers, Carl and Ricky Ott. There will be a visitation from 12 to 1 p.m. Wednesday, April 29 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Reverend Father Richard Beck will conduct a blessing service at 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
