Obituary of Frank Bezdecki
Frank Bezdecki, 92, of Mount Pocono, died on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the VNA Hospice House of Monroe County. He was the loving husband of the late Celia (Susz) Bezdecki.
Born in Breslau, PA he was the son of the late Bernard and Stella (Swinski) Bezdecki.
A proud veteran, Frank served with the United States Marine Corps from 1941-1943. Before his retirement he worked as an electronic technician for the Tobyhanna Army Depot. He was a member of Most Holy Trinity Parish, the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion.
He is survived by a son: Edward Bezdecki and his wife Elaine of Toms River, NJ; two daughters: Susan Seese and her husband Albert of Cresco, Barbara Brock of Lancaster; five granddaughters; one great granddaughter and two great grandsons. In addition to his wife, Celia, he was preceded in death by a daughter: Sharon Bender and her husband Arthur; brothers: Edward and Joseph Bezdzicki; sisters: Mary Marcincavage, Rita Kimpton, Connie Bezdziecki, Bernadine Witt and Blanche Bezdziecki.
There will be a viewing on Wednesday, May 6 from 5-7pm and on Thursday, May 7 from 9-10am at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. The Reverend Father Gregory Loughney will celebrate a Mass of Christian burial on Thursday, May 7 at 10:30 am at St. Mary of the Mount Church, 27 Fairview Ave., Mount Pocono. Burial will follow at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery in Annville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Frank may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
