Obituary of Jane Ann Gismondi

Jane Ann Gismondi, 57, of Swiftwater, died peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at home with her family by her side. She was the loving wife of Raymond Gismondi, Jr. with whom she would have shared 37 years of marriage with in December. Born in Passaic, NJ she was the daughter of Doris (Johnson) and the late Harold Engelbrecht. Jane was a caring and selfless soul who found joy and comfort in helping others. She surrounded herself with friends and family and cherished the time she had with all of them, especially her sons who were her everything. She loved to travel and garden and found great satisfaction in working when she was able. She was loved by so many and will be missed by everyone who knew her. In addition to her husband Raymond, she is survived by her sons: Raymond Gismondi, III and companion Gina of Stuart, FL, Angelo Gismondi of Swiftwater; sister: Carol Levi and her husband Bob of N.J.; sister-in-laws: Rose, Jane and Maria and nephew and niece; Michael Levi and Gina Triantafillou. In addition to her father, Harold she was preceded in death by a sister in law, Theresa Direnzo. There will be a visitation on Thursday, August 20 from 5-7pm at the Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
