Obituary of Denise Jackson

Denise Jackson, 42, of Tobyhanna, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 after a long courageous battle with ALS. She was the wife of Lennard Jackson. Born in Jamaica, she was the daughter of Sydney and Sheila (Thompson) Hemmings. Denise was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Stroudsburg and a former employee of Great Wolf Lodge in Scotrun. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by her children: Zachary and Olivia Jackson both at home; brothers: Leighton Hemmings of Jamaica, Courtney Hemmings of Canada; sisters: Andrea Miller of Jamaica, Cynthia Ennis of N.Y., Nadine Gayle of Tobyhanna; niece: Kelsie Gayle; nephews: Orane Douglas, Sanjay Frankson and her dear friend, Angela Clarke. There will be a viewing on Thursday, September 3rd from 3pm to 5pm at The Seventh Day Adventist Church, 2085 West Main Street Stroudsburg. Pastor Livingstone Aaron will conduct a service at 5pm at the church. Private cremation is entrusted to the Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
