Obituary of Charles Faust

Charles E. Faust, 84, of Tobyhanna, died on Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2015, at Pleasant Valley Manor in Stroudsburg. He was the loving husband of Beverly (Sutton) Faust. Born in Nazareth, he was a son of the late John and Ellen (Solt) Faust. Before his retirement, Charles worked as a mailman for the Linden Post Office in Linden, New Jersey. He was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Savior in Mount Pocono, the Senior Nutrition Group in Pocono Farms and the Tannersville Club. In addition to his wife, Beverly, he is survived by his children: Edward Charles Faust and his wife, Karen, Jeffrey Thomas Faust, Sherry Lee Nelson, Cynthia Marie Nelson-Hann and Tammy Lynn Faust-Snyder; his brother, Daniel Faust; his sister, JoAnne Schwartz; and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Sarah Faust-Gordan and Betty Brewer, and his brother, John Faust Jr. A service will be held at noon Saturday, Sept. 5, at the Lutheran Church of Our Savior, 675 Belmont Ave., Mount Pocono.
