Obituary of Demetro Karvetski

Demetro Karvetski, 82, of Pocono Summit, died Saturday, September 19, 2015 at his home. He was the loving husband of Victoria (Scarola) Karvetski with whom he shared 57 years of marriage. Born in Manhattan, N.Y., he was the son of the late Walter and Mary (Trepeta) Karvetski. Demetro was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He spent 40 years as a Telecommunications Tech for New York Telephone & AT&T in Commack, N.Y. In his spare time, Demetro enjoyed bowling and hunting. He was of the Catholic faith. In addition to his wife, Victoria, he is survived by his children, Demetro Karvetski and his wife, Jennifer of Warsaw, VA, Victoria D’Agostino and her husband, Robert of Brentwood, N.Y., Kerstin Butler and her husband, Mark of Rheinbeck, N.Y.; brother, Walter Karvetski and his wife, Florence of Hilton Head, N.C.; sister, Carol Bogdan and her husband, Joseph of Apex, N.C. eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Private cremation has been entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory. Services will be held at a later date.
