Obituary of Michael V. Schanbacher

Michael V. Schanbacher, 27, of Long Pond, died Wednesday, September 22, 2015 at home. Born in Philadelphia, the son of William and Zyta (Radyn) Schanbacher. Michael graduated from Father Judge High School in Philadelphia and attended Philadelphia Community College and Northampton Community College. He currently worked at the Amazon Warehouse in Gouldsboro. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Billy of Bucks County; sister, Dorothy Sachs and her husband Robert Sachs of Bensalem; grandmother, Helen Schanbacher of Philadelphia; nephews, Billy Schanbacher and Dominic Sachs; niece, Zoey Sachs and several aunts, uncles and cousins. There will be a viewing from 12 to 2 p.m. Saturday, September 26 at Bolock Funeral Home, 6148 Paradise Valley Road, Cresco PA. (For GPS use address 1 Peterson Hill Road, Cresco, PA) There will be a Catholic Mass and Burial at 1 p.m. Monday, September 28 at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa, 654 Ferry Road, Doylestown, Pa 18901. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery. Family and close friends are welcome to attend a luncheon immediately after the burial at Czestochowa Cafeteria Private cremation is entrusted to Bolock Funeral Home Crematory.
